Intel graphics do not have dedicated memory but utilizes some of the computer’s
system memory The amount of memory used for graphics depending on the amount of
system memory installed, BIOS settings, operating system, and system load. 32 MB is
pre-allocated for graphics use at system boot time. Additional memory can be allocated
at boot time by the BIOS for PAVP (Protected Audio Video Playback) support for
playback of protected video content.
Additional memory is allocated for graphics as needed using Intel's Dynamic Video
Memory Technology (DVMT), to provide an optimal balance between graphics and
system memory use.
Note: the actual amount of maximum graphics memory can be less than the amounts
listed above depending upon your computer’s configuration.
